Slow-Cooked Pork Tenderloin
Ingredients
Note : There’s no need to salt the meat as the onion soup contains enough salt.
Preparation
Slow cooker
- In a large skillet set over high heat, heat the oil and lightly brown tenderloins on all sides. Season with pepper (see note) and set aside.
- In the slow cooker, combine chili sauce, maple syrup and onion soup mix. Add tenderloins and coat well with mixture.
- Cook on low for 1 hour 30 minutes or until the internal core temperature is 135°F (57°C) for medium rare. Continue cooking for 30 minutes for well done. Remove pork tenderloins from slow cooker and let stand for 5 minutes covered with foil.
- Slice pork tenderloins and drizzle with sauce.
Side
- Jasmine rice with stir-fried green beans or pasta of your choice.
