Slow-Cooked Pork Tenderloin

1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours Cook time 5 minutes Prep time 4 servings

Ingredients

Note : There’s no need to salt the meat as the onion soup contains enough salt.

Preparation

Slow cooker

  1. In a large skillet set over high heat, heat the oil and lightly brown tenderloins on all sides. Season with pepper (see note) and set aside.
  2. In the slow cooker, combine chili sauce, maple syrup and onion soup mix. Add tenderloins and coat well with mixture.
  3. Cook on low for 1 hour 30 minutes or until the internal core temperature is 135°F (57°C) for medium rare. Continue cooking for 30 minutes for well done. Remove pork tenderloins from slow cooker and let stand for 5 minutes covered with foil.
  4. Slice pork tenderloins and drizzle with sauce.

Side

  1. Jasmine rice with stir-fried green beans or pasta of your choice.
