Chinese Macaroni with Ground Pork
Ingredients
Note : you can swap the ground pork for strips of pork or dices leftover pork roast.
Preparation
On the stove
- In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook pasta al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Meanwhile, in a large skillet set over medium-high heat, heat half the oil and sauté onion, celery and mushrooms for 2 to 3 minutes. Add ground pork, pepper and garlic. Continue cooking for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently until meat is cooked and vegetables are tender but still crisp.
- In the pot used to cook the pasta, add the macaroni, meat mixture, soy sauce, fish sauce and honey. Season with pepper and mix well to combine. Garnish with green onions and cilantro, and serve.
