Note : If short on time, serve nuts plain.

Bacon candied onion
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sauté bacon until golden brown and crispy. Drain and set aside on a dish lined with paper towel.
- In the same skillet, over medium heat, melt butter and sauté onion until tender and browned. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add maple syrup, vinegar and wine. Simmer, covered, for 5 minutes. Add bacon and simmer very gently, uncovered, for about 5 minutes or until onion is caramelized and translucent. Let cool.
- Serve at room temperature. Can be stored in the fridge for at least 2 weeks.
In The Oven
Honey caramelized nut
- Preheat oven to 165 °C (325 °F).
- 2- In a bowl, mix nuts, honey and cayenne pepper. Spread over a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for about 18–20 minutes. Sprinkle generously with fleur de sel. Let cool.
