Welcome dear teachers,
The Fédération des producteurs de porcs du Québec is proud to present ten pedagogical activities to be completed with elementary school students in grades 5 and 6.
These pedagogical activities are linked to teaching curriculum objectives and relate to teaching French, mathematics and social studies. Please note that all texts comply with new spelling conventions in French.
Each activity is independent and forms a unit. The order of presentation depends on your group's pace. You may want to review these pedagogical documents at the beginning of the year to determine the best time to present them to your students.
The activities could form part of a class project, or they could be integrated into your regular activities. They may also precede a visit to a farm or a producer-ambassador's visit to the school.
