Hazelnut & Vegetable Pork Stir-Fry


Ingredients

1 tbsp Sesame oil 15 ml
4, of 5 oz each Pork cutlets, boneless and cut in strips 4, de 150 g
1 tbsp Vegetal oil 15 ml
1 Garlic clove, chopped
1, of each onion & pepper bell, sliced
2 cups Broccoli, chopped 500 ml
1/2 Chinese cabbage, sliced
2 cups Mushrooms, chopped 500 ml
1-2 tsp Fresh ginger, grated 5 à 10 ml, au goût
1/2 cup Roasted hazelnuts 125 ml
1 cup Chicken broth (or vegetable) 250 ml
1 tbsp Corn starch, diluted in water 15 ml
To taste Salt & pepper

Cooking Instructions

Warm the sesame oil in a wok under medium heat. Grill the pork for 1 - 2 min. Remove from the casserole, cover and reserve.

In the same wok, warm the vegetable oil under medium heat. Grill the garlic and the onion. Add the pepper, the broccoli, the cabbage, the mushrooms and the ginger. Cook during 4 min.

Add hazelnuts and broth. Bring to boil. Add the diluted starch and let boil during 1 min.

Incorporate pork strips and mix. Flavor to taste and serve.
